The “Coach Steven Edwards Scholarship Award”, was founded in 2019 on his 65th birthday by his former athletes and students in honor of the role he played in their lives. Steve Edwards is a 1972 graduate of Cleveland Heights High School (CHHS). Where he returned to coach with his mentor and friend, Coach Dick Mann. In 1988 he moved on to Aurora, IL. where he became the Head boys track coach at Waubonsie Valley High School. He has also coached at Eastern Kentucky University and Berea College in Berea, KY.

Coach and Mrs Edwards cover all administrative cost and match donations up to $5000 for each school. All donations are tax deductible.
